Provincial premiers expressed skepticism over Paul Martin's rich health-care promise today with Ontario's Dalton McGuinty noting all they've got is "is a campaign promise made in the thick of a campaign."
McGuinty, who has endured blistering criticism of late for breaking his own key campaign promises, suggested that Martin's promise to inject billions more into health care doesn't mean much unless and until the Liberals win the June 28 election.
"We've got a campaign promise made in the thick of a campaign," McGuinty said.
"Let's wait to see the outcome of that campaign, so we can better determine what we're going to end up with." Source.
